In Spring of 2023, I created a vine robot lightsaber for my ME 153 Junior Design Class. I led our group of 4 members in creating a soft extensible lightsaber that can be automatically extended and retracted into its hilt. In our design competition at the end of the quarter, we were awarded the best project in the class by a panel of judges.
